Altimex provides electrical manufacturing services, both as one-off projects and more extensive, large scale schemes. Based in Cheshire, they provide an end-to-end service from initial concept and design through to electronic and mechanical assembly, with technical advice and service available throughout the entire process. The company is also a provider of fibre optic solutions for Data and Tele Comms.
Managing Director of Altimex, Davinder Lotay, has recently turned his hand to developing a highly technical robotic device. Following an extensive research and development process, Davinder and the team built and programmed the device. The robot is so advanced it is able to solve a scrambled Rubik’s cube.
From 4th to 6th June, Altimex will be exhibiting at Subcon, an annual event which welcomes over 4,000 guests. Subcon brings together experts in the manufacturing and engineering fields, with more than 400 companies exhibiting. Based in the NEC in Birmingham, the event welcomes the best of British manufacturing, as well as a host of overseas visitors. Attendees have the opportunity to interact with fellow specialists and secure future business partners and suppliers.
The robot will be on display at the Altimex stand, where attendees can see for themselves its Rubik’s cube solving skills! ‘’We’ve exhibited at Subcon for a few years now, and it’s an event that we really enjoy. It’s always great to meet new people and understand their requirements, and to discuss industry developments with fellow engineers and manufacturers,’’ says MD Davinder.
The robot will be exhibited by Altimex at Subcon from 4th – 6th June. Guests can register to attend for free at www.subconshow.co.uk. Visit Altimex at Stand E41.
